Quottum for WordPress
Quottum Pro — Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This notice covers Quottum Pro, the paid version of the Quottum plugin for WordPress. The hosted app at app.quottum.io is a separate product with its own Privacy Policy.
1. Who does what
Gaviso Digital Marketing, LLC makes Quottum Pro and provides updates and support. Lemon Squeezy sells it as the merchant of record.
2. When you buy
You pay on Lemon Squeezy's checkout, not on quottum.io. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment and billing details and handles them under its own Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your card details.
Lemon Squeezy shares your order with us, including your name and email address, so that we can provide your license, updates, support and refunds.
3. What the plugin sends
Quottum Pro contacts two services, and only about your license:
- When you activate your license key: the key and your site's host name (for example, example.com) go to Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy returns an activation ID for your site.
- Once a day: the key and the activation ID go to Lemon Squeezy, to check that the license is still active.
- About every 12 hours, and when you install an update: the key, the activation ID, your Quottum version, your PHP version and your site's language setting go to quottum.io. quottum.io passes the key and the activation ID to Lemon Squeezy to confirm the license.
- When you deactivate the license: the key and the activation ID go to Lemon Squeezy, and the key is deleted from your site.
Like every request WordPress makes, these carry your server's IP address and WordPress's standard identifier, which includes your site's address.
Your quotes, contracts and client records are not sent to us or to Lemon Squeezy. They stay in your own WordPress database.
4. What we keep
Your license key and its status are stored in your own WordPress database. quottum.io does not store license keys in a database. It holds recent license checks and a count of requests per IP address in memory only, to answer quickly and to limit abuse. It writes one log line per license check, with the last four characters of the key and whether the check passed.
Lemon Squeezy's answer to a license check includes the buyer's name and email address. Neither the plugin nor quottum.io keeps them.
If you email help@quottum.io, we keep your message so we can answer it.
5. Your choices
To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email help@quottum.io. For your payment details, contact Lemon Squeezy. Removing your license key in Quottum → Settings → License stops the license and update requests.
